Your correspondent jagged a few at the point during the late morning session. Size was in the chest to shoulder range, but there were a few head plus bombs at the point and it looked to be bigger than that along the beach. Wind was lightly offshore under sunny skies and water felt like about 18 to me. The 3pm MHL data showed 1.7 metres of 10 sec SSE swell – which was just about where the day started.
