Hello Friends,

You’ll want to find a NE spot that can cope with powering N-NE winds because that’s what the Bureausays Huey’s sending our way today.  This morning there was scrappy NE wind bump showing  at Dee Why, but it wasn’t energetic enough to look rideable. The WRL cam showed that conditions were not much  more interesting  at Collaroy.  Swell was out of the NE at 1.7 metres but only 7 seconds apart and wind was coming from the same direction. As of 0800 it was 8-10 kts at North Head. Tide turned a couple hours earlier and was coming into the high at 1335.

And the outlook? May I direct you to the wisdom of the Goat

Have a fine old Friday!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred over the Tasman Sea is moving slowly east, with northerly winds in most coastal areas. Winds will strengthen today as the next cold front approaches, before the front brings a gusty westerly change. Conditions should ease again on the weekend as a new high drifts across from the west.
