Optimistic surfer trots toward the beach path

Hello Friends,

Swell’s back to marginal to flat. The MHL buoy was seeing a metre of 14s SSE bump but where DY and south Narrabeen were concerned it was too small to surf. However those numbers are translating into knee to waist high sets at optimally exposed stretches. The Bureau expects the energy levels to go up a bit more and for the wind to stay out of the west and SW. Tide’s high at 0735 and will be back to low at 1330.
The Goat’s rolled out his weekly forecast for the week ahead, so, as always I commend its wisdom to you.
Have a great Friday everyone!

Weather Situation
A low pressure system to the east of Tasmania extends a trough to the northern New South Wales coast, while a second trough moves over the state’s west. This second trough will cross the coast today, followed by a high pressure system drifting across northern New South Wales. By Saturday this high should be over the Tasman Sea, bringing a return to generally northerly winds along the coast. The next cold front is forecast to bring a west to southwesterly change later Sunday and Monday.
