Hello Friends,

When I saw the Batemans Bay buoy data last night, I got all hopeful for your prospects this morning. It was 3 metres south at close to 10 sec. Alas, as the pictures show, this morning sees only a metre of straight south at 10 seconds. There could be a few places focussing it into the waist range, but mostly it’s going to be smaller than that. In fact Dee Why looked to be struggling to make the knee high mark at Kiddies.
First tide of the day is a high at 0820. Water’s about 18.
Wind was light offshore under nearly cloudless skies as the day kicked off but it’s expected to get around to the NE late this morning.
Sadly it looks as though this could be as active as it gets on the surf front until late in the coming work week.
Go for a paddle anyway, it’s a beautiful morning out there!
