Hello Friends,

Sunday sees about a metre of 9-sec SSE swell trickling into Sydney’s beaches. If you hunt around you’ll find the odd magnet spot producing knee to waist high sets. It looks as though Dee Why was at the bottom end of the range, but there should be something slightly bigger up the beach toward Longy. Tide was high at 0905, skies are uniformly grey and the Bureau’s practically guaranteeing rain later. Wind was still lightly offshore. It’s set to swing more to the north and NW later.
Wind’s set to stay out of the westerly quarters for the next couple of days and the Bureau’s modelling is showing a bit of a bump in the energy levels for Mon-Tue as a little local windswell kicks in. Beyond that it seems things are likely to be quiet until maybe Friday when we may get another pulse along the same lines.
Have yourself a top old Sunday one and all!
