Not my cup of tea, but Dee Why point had a few hardy types tackling the big lumpfest at the point (the beach was a write-off). The crew were doing a fair amount of waiting around while dodging the bombs. Watched for quite awhile and only saw a few waves ridden, of which only two or three were makeable any distance.
Worth noting too that Beachwatch is warning the water quality is sketchy from Bungan south. It’s likely to be polluted at Manly and I’d be surprised if Dee Why was much better as it’s still showering on and off.
