The good news is that if you’re keen, you could get a wave despite the 10-15 kts of ESE wind. A 1.8 metre, 9-second SSE wind swell was delivering soft and floppy knee to waist-plus high lumps at magnets. It looked to be a bit of a wait though. Tide was dropping to the low at 0950 when I grabbed the snaps. It’ll be back to a 1.3 m high at 1610. Weather should be showery as we head to a high of 23C – which is the same as the water temp.
The next couple of days promise to be rainier still. And the wind is going to be onshore too. Swell should push up some on Thursday and there may be a little window of light wind plus 2 metres of 9-sec NE swell on Friday for the early…
