Swell hangin’ in there

Hello Friends,

At 0645 there were still a few set waves getting into the Dee Why stretch. The swell has dropped very slightly overnight and is currently averaging about 2 metres out at sea. It’s coming from a favourable SE direction and still averaging around 10 seconds apart. That should mean you’ll have a reasonable number of wave options to choose from across the Sydney region’s beaches. In fact, it looks as though these conditions should pretty much be the same up and down the NSW coast.

If you have the option, you may want to make the effort today because the models show this little pulse fading tomorrow as we head into what currently looks to be a week or so of showery weather and short period, marginal south windswell.

On a considerably brighter – indeed historical – note, RealSurf’s tireless Shari is going political and running for Warringah Council on the We Love Warringah ticket. I put up the official press release in our news section last night, so check it out! Pretty cool, eh?

Have yourself a top old day!
