Swell has picked up a little since this morning and is currently sitting on a couple metres at 10 seconds from the south (134 degrees to be precise). PB and I caught a few burgery but fun shoulder to head plus sets at Fairy Bower around midday. It was kinda sloppy and very bumpy in the steady SE sideshore, but it wasn’t super crowded, it was sunny and the water is as warm as it gets. So a good time was had by all!
Not sure about tomorrow though. It should be bigger (building to a peak early Sat morning in the 4m range), but the wind looks like just being stupid from late morning tomorrow through to late arvo Saturday.
More thoughts on the topic tomorrow…
