Hello Friends,Another beautiful day along the beaches this morning. The wind was coming lightly from the WSW and out at sea, the swell was around the metre mark at 9-10 seconds from 123°. Waves were noticeably smaller than yesterday at this time and they were getting swamped by the 1.88 m 0920 high tide. Size on sets at energy focal points is in the knee to waist-plus-ish range. As the tide drops, that could improve Beachwatch tells us the water is still a delightful 23C, but that it’s still in the Pollution Possible range. Personally, I’m waiting for it to have a normal colour again before getting back in.
Tomorrow sees a return to showery conditions as the wind regime swings to the south. Tuesday currently looks like partly cloudy with south wind and increasing dead south swell (increasing to around 2 m at 9 sec, so not big)

A high over the Great Australian Bight is working with a low pressure trough off the New South Wales far south coast to produce mainly fresh southerly winds across southern waters this morning. The trough will weaken as it drifts offshore through Sunday, but the high will maintain an onshore flow through the day. Another trough is forecast to bring another surge of southerly winds to the far southern coast on Monday.Forecast for Sunday until midnight
