"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Hello Friends,
Clear skies overhead at daybreak along the beaches. Swell out at sea has dropped a bit overnight with the buoys reporting 1.4 metres of 10-11 second energy from the SE (147°). Wind was westerly 12-16 kts at sunrise and should stay that way this morning before gradually swing toward the southerly quarters by dusk. First tide of the daylight hours is a 1.3 m high at 0730. We’re back to low at 1300.

As the pictures show, it’s not flat, but it’s not exactly pumping either. Take the floatiest surf toy this morning and a sunny Aloha attitude and you’ll have fun.

Outlook for tomorrow is showery weather with south to SE wind and bigger, more straight south swell. Monday should see better wind and weather, but a fading south swell. There might be a few scraps on Tuesday but right now the rest of the week is looking unpromising for challenging surf.

Go well everyone, take the mask if you go out and stay safe!
