Waves around lots of places early

Soft set

North Narrabeen

South Narrabeen before 0700 Sat
Hello Friends,

You wanted to be in for the early this morning – before the wind arrived and the tide swamped the joint. Lots of waves around the place. There were shoulder high sets to be found at places that like the NE swell direction. Heaps of bods in at North Narrabeen, some around the corner at little Narra and a few scattered down the beach toward Gardens. On the Dee Why to Longy stretch the energy levels were looking weaker, but there were peaks to be had from about the club north to the lugga.

We have a king tide at 1025 and the wind is set to be 15-20kts north turning NE 15-25kts later.

Swell should stick around all day, so if you can cope with sideshore conditions, then there should be a few options as the tide begins to drop toward the low at 1710.

Looking like a bit of the old rinse and repeat across the next couple days – ie, get in early at east to ne spots to beat the onshores and rising tide.

The pattern looks like sticking around all week and then, about the time yours truly hands the keys to the housesitter and heads west to family doings next Saturday, a longer period east swell courtesy of TC Evan.
