Grabbed a few snaps of the conditions at Manly, Curly and Dee Why around 0900 this morning as I was out and about.
Manly was mildly busy crowd-wise, but smaller than yesterday and not as consistent. The best peaks were sort of around North Steyne, although I saw waves caught up and down the beach. Size was in the waist range or a lot smaller for the most part. The shots below were from the best few seconds of the biggest set waves I saw.
Curly was pretty uncrowded and a touch bigger than Manly but the quality was not as good. Lots of lumpy shutdowns on the dodgy banks in the middle. If you were in exactly the right spot though, a chest high wave face was a definite possibility.
Dee Why was micro at the south end as my earlier pictures showed, but it was a tiny touch bigger and into the barely surfable range up the beach from about No Man’s to Longy.
