Fun looking Friday morning

Hello Friends,

Yay! We have waves, sunny skies and the prospect of light winds. Swell is about the same size as yesterday (1.5 metres) but the average period is close to 14 seconds from the SSE.
Sets at Dee Why were reasonably regular (although it was tiny between them) and as the pictures show, were into the chest to shoulder plus range at the point and up the beach. Given the settings, I’d expect there to be lots of surf options this morning, although beaches will probably be shutty-downy because of the long lines.
Good luck to all who are lucky enough to have a slot in the day for wave hunting.

Nice set appears up the beach toward No Mans at 0750
Sets were turning up every few minutes

Winds will turn north to northeasterly along most of the coast ahead of a south to southwesterly change associated with a cold front developing on the south coast Saturday night. The change is expected to reach Sydney Waters on Sunday morning and the far north coast in the evening.
