Too small to surf at Dee Why Sunday morning

Hello Friends,

A beautiful sunny morning in Sydney but there are no waves to speak of. Swell at sea was 0.9m at 14 seconds from the SSE and wind was coming from the north at 10-15kts. Weather should be sunny all day as we head to a high of 20°C. Despite the lack of surf, it’s looking like a great day for getting out and about – particularly as we’ll be heading into another week of showery weather from tomorrow.

Surfwise the outlook is for micro conditions again tomorrow, but with swell kicking up into the 2 to 2 plus metre range on Tuesday.

Go well, and take the mask – COVID’s on the rampage.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the northern Tasman Sea will continue to weaken and drift east today as a cold front crosses the south of the state. As this front moves east, northwesterly winds are expected to increase and then shift south to southwesterly behind the front and throughout on Monday. After this, south to southeasterly winds are forecast to redevelop during the week and unsettled conditions return.
