"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

The situation around 1100 (pics)

Went for a paddle this morning and fetched up at Longy. It appeared that the bank situation was pretty dire where the beach break was concerned, and it looked like there might be the very occasional little catchable bump at the bombies. It turned out very occasional was right. Long, long waits for soft waist to chest plus sets. On the other hand there were only half a dozen of us scattered around the various peaks, so it was a nice way to get some exercise, even if the waves weren’t too special. When I got out around 1100, I grabbed the camera and took a few snaps to document the conditions just after the tide turned. Wind started to pick up from the NE, in line with the forecast, so I expect the Dee Why end will be chopped out soon.
